Exhibition Profile
The current Iraq Oil and Gas Technology Exhibition OIGATECH 2024 will be held from June 1st to 4th, 2024 at the Baghdad International Convention and Exhibition Center in Baghdad, Iraq, exclusively hosted by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
Iraq is undoubtedly one of the most attractive regions in the world, with enormous oil and gas reserves and production potential. Iraq's proven oil reserves are 143 billion barrels, accounting for approximately 10% of the world's total reserves, making it the third largest country in the world in terms of conventional proven oil reserves after Saudi Arabia and Iran. There are 79 oil and gas fields that have been discovered (70 for oil and 9 for natural gas), of which only 23 have been developed, and the estimated reserves could reach 214 billion barrels.
