Thailand is very similar to Vietnam in terms of both geographical location and industrial structure. And both countries rely heavily on Chinese exports to sustain their economies. Thailand is located in the middle of the Indochina Peninsula, bordering the Pacific Ocean to the southeast and the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest, and the Indian Ocean and the Andaman Sea to the southwest. It borders Myanmar to the west and northwest, Laos to the northeast, Cambodia to the east, and Malaysia to the south. Thailand is one of the emerging industrial countries and market economies. It implements liberal economic policies and is an export-oriented economy. As a member and founding country of ASEAN, it is located in the center of ASEAN. Aside from high policy transparency and trade liberalization, Thailand has open and inclusive business environment. It is the second largest economy in ASEAN after Indonesia.
Having very cheap labor cost, Thailand is proud of its many labor-intensive industries such as agriculture, textile, clothing, toys, leather, furniture and other manufacturing industries. In addition, it also includes some traditional service industries, which mainly rely on labor in the production process and are more sensitive to labor costs. That is one of the main reasons why many foreign companies, especially those from the developed countries, prefer to set up their factories in Thailand to take advantage of its low labor costs, thus increasing their profitability.
Over the last decade, China has been the very largest exporting country of steel products for most Southeast Asian countries including Thailand for a variety of reasons. Aside from close geographical proximity and favorable trade policies, China is one of the few countries that offer such steel items at lower costs with a relatively short lead time, taking advantage of the economy of scale and large inventory level.
This order features the 439 stainless steel coil. This stainless steel has a high chromium content, which prevents rust and corrosion in both wet and dry conditions. This makes it ideal for use in moisture or chemicals. In addition, 439 stainless steel also has good formability and weldability and can be easily molded into different forms or sizes without compromising on its structural integrity. This makes it versatile and suitable for different manufacturing processes.
Jiuzhou Metal looks forward to working with more clients from Thailand in the future and assisting them in fulfilling their objectives by offering top-class steel products they need.
