20 tons Stainless Steel Pipes Shipped to Vietnam on July 5th

July 26th turns out to be another day worth celebrating for Jiuzhou Metal as well as our Vietnamese client thousands of miles away. 20 tons of stainless steel pipes ordered last months by our new client just left Tianjin port heading south towards Vietnam on the 5th of July, and will land and get discharged a couple of weeks later!
Vietnam is a country without a very deep and solid industrial foundation and has been relying heavily on Chinese export of metal products over the last decade just like many other Southeast Asian countries. Having very cheap labor cost, Vietnam is proud of its many labor-intensive industries such as agriculture, textile, clothing, toys, leather, furniture and other manufacturing industries. In addition, it also includes some traditional service industries, which mainly rely on labor in the production process and are more sensitive to labor costs. That is one of the main reasons why many foreign companies, especially those from the developed countries, prefer to set up their factories in Vietnam to take advantage of its low labor costs, thus increasing their profitability.
However, the metal industry is a capital-intensive industry that rely heavily on capital investment. These industries require a large amount of capital investment in the production process, including fixed assets and working capital. Unlike labor-intensive industries, the metal industry has relatively large equipment, raw material consumption, capital investment, less labor force per unit investment, as well as high labor productivity. Therefore, importing directly from China would be a wise way to meet their needs for capital-intensive products like metal.
This order includes solely the 317L stainless steel pipe, which has unique properties and characteristics resulting from its chemical composition. It is composed of a combination of elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and carbon. Chromium is the main component of 317L stainless steel and makes it highly corrosion-resistant. It forms a protective layer on the metal surface, preventing rust and staining. Chromium also plays an important role in increasing its high-temperature strength. Molybdenum gives it better resistance to pitting corrosion from chloride solutions commonly found in harsh environments such as seawater or chemical processing plants. Carbon content improves hardness but can reduce weldability when controlled improperly.
Jiuzhou Metal looks forward to working with more clients from Vietnam in the future and assisting them in fulfilling their objectives by offering top-class steel products they need. Thanks to the open trade policies from both countries as well as highly favorable geographical proximity, it is strongly believed that more Vietnamese businesses will benefit from the prosperity and development of the metal industry in China!
