240 Tons Seamless Steel Pipes Shipped to Egypt on March 26th
Great news! Jiuzhou Metal just witnessed the first bulk shipment to Africa since the Spring festival in China. 240 tons of seamless steel pipes to Egypt just left Tianjin Port on a cargo ship and are estimated to land the African continent by the end of April.
Egypt is located in the northeastern part of the African continent, at the intersection of the three continents of Europe, Asia and Africa. It is the most populous country in the Middle East and the second most populous country in Africa. Its geographical location is very important, in terms of economy, science and technology. And it is the third largest economy on the African continent. The demand for steel products of different kind has never stopped growing within the country in order to fulfill the construction missions of a variety of both stated-owned and privately-operated projects. Besides, in recent years, the Egyptian government has actively promoted social and economic reforms, increased investment in infrastructure construction, and improved the industrialization level of domestic enterprises. This order placed by our Egyptian client includes solely A335 seamless steel pipe, which is a seamless ferritic alloy-steel pipe for high temperature service. This pipe not only has high oxidation resistance and high temperature steam corrosion resistance, but also has good impact toughness, stable durable plasticity and thermal strength. A335 steel pipes are commonly used to transport high-temperature and high-pressure oil, natural gas and other media.
