According to Tangshan Labor Daily news, since the beginning of this year, a number of steel enterprises and related steel enterprises in Tangshan City, on the basis of grasping ultra-low emissions and finding low-carbon paths, make full use of the national "renewable steel raw material import standards" and related policies implemented on January 1 this year, and successively import recycled steel raw materials from South Korea and Japan.
By the end of April, Shugang Jingtang, China Minmetals and other enterprises imported 11,000 tons of recycled steel from Caofeidian port, and Delong Group, Jingye Group and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation imported 12,000 tons of recycled steel from Jingtang Port. In addition, the customs learned that with the implementation of the tariff adjustment policy for some steel products from May 1, it is expected that four ships and about 12,000 tons of recycled steel will be imported from the two port areas in May.
